Our Remote Team Leadership Course is delivered in 5 bite-sized video modules, with checklists to support you in taking immediate action:
Module 1 - Establishing roles and responsibilities. The way we work together as a team in an office can often mean that roles and responsibilities blur (especially if you don’t have established processes), it’s vital that everyone is clear on what they should (and should not) be doing and authorising when working remotely.
Module 2 - Establishing communication channels. It’s vital to know when and how to contact your team so that tasks to do not slip through the cracks, especially as maintaining a work life balance can be more difficult when your home and office are in the same place.
Module 3 - Creating a virtual team. It is easy to feel like you are alone and have no support when you are working remotely, it’s vital to build virtual team environment to ensure that everyone in your team is supported.
Module 4 - Virtual team working. There are a number of systems that can be utilised to help your team to work together, as if they were all in the same room, we hare some hints and tips to get things going.
Module 5 - Monitoring and Reviewing Performance. Ensuring that your team are working effectively and achieving their objectives is key when managing remotely, we have a structure to help you keep track on performance and address any issues should they occur.

I’m Melanie Folkes-Mayers, Founder and CEO of Eden Mayers HR Consulting.

I have a Masters in Human Resource Management, am Chartered MCIPD qualified and have a Prince 2 Project Management Qualification.
I have spent over 15 years providing Strategic and Operational HR support in wide range of sectors, including Consulting, IT, Retail, Event Organisers, Schools and Charities.
